Update: Yesterday we reported that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes would no longer launch for Xbox One on day one. However Warner Bros. has now sent a new statement to IGN stating it will definitely launch alongside Microsoft’s next generation console.
“LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is an Xbox One launch title. The game ships for Xbox One on November 22 in North America and is scheduled to be on store shelves in European territories beginning November 29.”
Warner Bros. did not comment on how the confusion was originally made, but it is good news for Xbox One owners nonetheless.
Original story: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will not be launching alongside the Xbox One on November 22, which has been confirmed to MCVUK.
Warner has confirmed the information in the following statement.
“LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is coming to next-gen consoles, but the game will not be releasing on the Xbox One console on November 22nd. We will provide a release date for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes on Xbox One as soon as possible.”
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will still release for the PlayStation 4 on November 15 in North America and November 29 in Europe. No further information regarding the delay has been announced, but we will update you when more facts are made apparent.
Until then there are plenty of other platforms to enjoy LEGO Marvel Superheroes as it is currently available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, PC, 3DS and Vita.
