Update: Gamescom: PlayStation Vita Handheld & Memory Card Price Drops Announced

Update: Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has confirmed that from September 2 PlayStation Vita Wi-Fi and 3G models reduced to AUD$269.95.
Original story: Sony has announced the PlayStation Vita’s RRP will now be $199 Euro in Europe and $199 in North America.
The announcement was made at Sony’s Gamescom press conference, where they also announced memory cards would be receiving discounts. However no further information was given regarding the memory card price reduction.
Sony dropped the PlayStation Vita’s price in Japan earlier this year, substantially increasing the handhelds sales for a number of weeks.
