Update: After the premature reveal, Sony has now officially unveiled Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

The collection will release on PlayStation 4 on October 7 in Europe and October 9 in North America, and will house all three main stay Uncharted releases – Uncharted Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will not be directly handled by Naughty Dog, instead Bluepoint Games will be porting the original trilogy to PlayStation 4 consoles. Bluepoint Games have behind many port releases over the years, with the most recent being Titanfall for Xbox 360, Flower, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, God of War Collection, and The Ico & Shadow of Collection.

The Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will present all three Uncharted games in 1080p visuals and 60fps gameplay, with improved lighting, textures, models and additional improvements across all three games.

Those who pre-order Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will receive the Nathan Drake Pack, which includes single player skins of iconic Drake outfits, the Golden AK-47 and Golden 92FS guns; while pre-ordering from the PlayStation Store will gain you a Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PlayStation 4 dynamic theme.

Lastly, pre-ordering Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will give players access to an exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer beta; as of now there is no word when this beta will take place.

Original Story: Sony has prematurely revealed Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for PlayStation 4, before the official reveal.

Earlier today a Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection banner image (featured above) appeared on the mobile version of the PlayStation Store in North America. Though the banner isn’t perfectly clear, one would strongly assume the collection will house the original Uncharted, Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3; and perhaps even the Vita release, Uncharted Golden Abyss?

Following the premature mix-up on Sony’s behalf, Naughty Dog creative director and writer Neil Druckmann acknowledged the leak, confirming that this is indeed legitimate and a full announcement should be revealed shortly.

Well… that hit a few hours too early. See you in the AM. G'night y'all. — Neil Druckmann (@Neil_Druckmann) June 4, 2015

Though no release date for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection has been revealed at this time, one would assume this would launch during the latter half of 2015. Sony recently acknowledged its lineup for the remainder of first party launches for 2015 was “sparse”, but this release could help Sony’s holiday 2015 lineup a great deal.

Analog Addiction will have information on the full reveal when it goes live later today.
