‘The Sly Trilogy’ Coming to Vita, ‘God of War Collection’ Vita Release Date

Sony has announced The Sly Trilogy will be coming to PlayStation Vita, alongside the release date for  Vita version of The God of War Collection.

These announcements were made on the PSBlog, where it confirmed The Sly Trilogy would bring all three of the original PlayStation 2 releases (Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honour Among Thieves) to PlayStation Vita. The Trilogy will contain fully remastered visuals and has been optimised for the PlayStation Vita.

Sony also revealed the long awaited God of War Collection will release May 6 in North America  May 8 in Europe. The God of War Collection will bring the first two God of War titles (God of War, God of War II) to the handheld device, they will also feature fully remastered graphics, Trophy support and front Touch abilities.

The Vita version of The God of War Collection was announced at E3 last year. The original God of War Collection was released on PlayStation 3, seeing the PlayStation 2 classics fully remastered in HD.

The Sly Trilogy will release April 16 in Europe, while North America will have to wait until May 27.

These announcements continue a day of great news for Vita fans, as Sony also announced the PlayStation Vita Slim would be coming to North America bundled with the Vita version of Borderlands 2. It was announced late last month the PlayStation Vita Slim would also be coming to the UK.
