Namco Bandai Games Europe has announced Tales of Symphonia Chronicles is now available exclusively for PlayStation 3 in Australia and New Zealand.
Tales of Symphonia Chronicles contains the original Tales of Symphonia which was released for PlayStation 2, alongside the follow-up Wii title Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.
Tales of Symphonia casts players in the shoes of Lloyd Irving as he embarks on adventure to restore mana back to the world of Sylvarant, which is an energy source that is required for the survival of their world. During the adventure Irving discovers a parallel world known as Tethe’alla, who also rely on mana to keep their world alive. Featuring real-time battles which allow direct control of your characters, Irving must find a way for both worlds to coincide and survive.
While Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World has players take control of Emil Castagnier as he must uncover the mysteries that have effected his world. This installment delves into the consequences that took place at the end of Tales of Symphonia, continuing the original tale. Expanding on the original battle system, players can recruit monsters that they can train to help throughout battles. Players will also have full control of their party and monster allies, allowing the ability to create a party that fits you battle style.
