Sony’s focus on indie titles continues, as their latest addition to the impressive line-up Stealth Bastard will be releasing this Summer. Developed by Curve Studios it will be available on PlayStation 3 and Vita, with Lead Designer of Curve Studios Sam Robinson confirming the title will utilise Cross-Buy.
Stealth Bastard is described as an “Outrageously devious stealth-puzzle-platformer.” Originally available on PC come from Curve Studios, who created the PlayStation Network game Explodemon!
Curve Studios stated that the game will offer eight worlds each containing 10 levels, online leaderboards and a LittleBigPlanet style community sharing system. Levels in Stealth Bastard can take “anywhere between 10 seconds and 10 minutes to complete“, making it a perfect time-killer on Sony’s handheld.
One problem surrounds the game, the games name itself. Curve Studios is looking to alter the name to make it more suitable for PlayStation audiences explaining they would “like to present our fans with an opportunity to be part of Stealth Bastard’s journey to PlayStation. We want to rename Stealth Bastard to something less profane… it’s just too rude!”
No pricing, release date or confirmation of Trophies has been announced, but we will update you when we hear more. Stealth Bastard joins the company of Hotline Miami, Lone Survivor and Thomas Was Alone in Sony’s new indie focused initiative.
