Special 15th Anniversary ‘Anno Online’ Event Announced

Ubisoft has announced a new event will take place in Anno Online, in celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Anno franchise.
The new event will see people travelling from the kingdom to establish new islands, and their flotilla will need to stop by the player’s island for provisions. Players must repair their ships by completing quests, alongside a discovery by the King’s cartographer of a mysterious island with ancient ruins from an unknown civilisation. He will require help to discover the numerous mysteries surrounding his discovery, to uncover ancient treasure.
Completing the series of quests given by the cartographer will unlock sectors of the island, the quests are listed below.

Developer Blue Byte has also included objects from all previous Anno games inside the event, veteran players must keep their eyes peeled to see them all.
Two new currency systems will be included in the event known as Anno Planks and Doubloons. Players will obtain these new currencies by completing in-game quests and competing in community events, with the player with the highest amount being rewarded with an exclusive “Hero of the Event” reward.
Players can enjoy Anno Online for free here, with all players who log-in during the event to receive an exclusive 15th anniversary statue.
