Ubisoft has announced the start of Tournaments mode for Spartacus Legends, which is a new PvP battle mode where players will compete for the title of Champion of Capua.

Tournaments will take place over four weeks taking place between Monday and Sunday, with awards given on a weekly basis. Players who earn the most points through battle participation, executions, crown favour, winning streaks and more will receive the awards on a tiered system; with the highest points earners collecting all rewards.

The top one percent of players over the course of a series will be given the title of “Champion of Capua”, which other rewards such as silver, titles, equipment, boosts and banner items also awarded. Players will be able to create their own customised banners and special insignias, which is a new feature to Spartacus Legend.

The tournaments will be down one week after completion, before restarting allowing players to once again compete for the prestigious title.

Spartacus Legends is now available on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace and you can read our full review here.
