Sources Claim ‘Whore of the Orient’ Team Shut Down

The team working on Whore of the Orient at Kennedy Miller Mitchell Interactive, have apparently been shut down. Creator of L.A. Noire Brendan McNamara was behind this new title, which was scheduled for a 2015 release.


Sources have contacted MCV Pacific regarding the teams status, KMM originally absorbed a number of staff members from the L.A. Noire development studio known as Team Bondi. The company was liquated after the release of the successful Rockstar published title, where KNN co-founder George Miller acquired the rights to McNamara’s new title.

Sources close to IGN have stated that the publisher who was behind Whore of the Orient, had been lost.

With no official announcements, the state of the Whore of the Orient team is still up in the air. But we will update you as we hear more.
