President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed there will be an upcoming DLC “expansion” for the critically acclaimed PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne.
So I have been asked by many people if we are making DLC for Bloodborne. I can say… An expansion is coming. More info later this year. 😀 — Shuhei Yoshida (@yosp) May 21, 2015
The confirmation was posted on Twitter (see above), after Yoshida has had many a PlayStation gamer asking whether there will be DLC for Bloodborne, confirming more information will be given later this year.
Though there is little information to begin predicting what the DLC could be, the fact that Yoshida said “expansion” could hint at a larger portion of additional content than previous From Software titles. From Software has been known to support its titles after launch, with Dark Souls II receiving a three part DLC release.
Analog Addiction reviewed Bloodborne earlier this year, calling it “an enjoyable alteration from what Souls veterans have come to expect”.
