Sony has announced a new feature for PlayStation Plus members called Vote to Play, which will allow subscribers to vote for which game they would like to see available in the monthly game’s line-up.

PlayStation Plus members will be able to vote between a selection of games. Once the voting process ends the game with the most votes will be available in the next monthly PlayStation Plus line-up.

The titles that do not win the vote will receive an exclusive discounted price for PlayStation Plus members during the next month, though if this discount will last all month hasn’t been revealed. At this stage it seems the discounts will only be implemented during the first Vote to Play promotion. Sony has also clarified this will not be a monthly feature, but it will be taking places in regular intervals throughout the year.

Information regarding when the first round of voting will begin, which games will be available and how subscribers can cast their votes will be announced “shortly”.
