Sony Announces One Million PlayStation 4 Sales in North America

Sony has announced that the recently released PlayStation 4 has already been sold to over one million customers in North America. The announcement came from Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida on Twitter, who confirmed these sales happened within the first 24 hours of the systems launch.

Alongside the announcement Adam Boyes, Sony Vice President of publisher and developer relations also commented on the impressive sales.

The PlayStation 4 has currently only launched in North America, with a European/Australian launch set for November 29 and a Japanese launch in 2014.
