Skyrim’s Latest Expansion Hearthfire Announced

The next downloadable expansion pack for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been announced, the expansion is called Hearthfire. With the previous expansion pack Dawnguard focusing on vampire slaying and enhancing combat, Hearthfire will instead add the ability to purchase your own plot of land and then be able to design your dream Skyrim abode, from scratch.
Within your housing development you will be able to design and build kitchens, libraries, alchemy labs, greenhouses and be able to decorate them as you see fit within the new crafting system. You will also be able to show off your accomplishments in Skyrim inside the trophy room, where you will be able to display such things as troll skulls signifying your greatest kills. Outside you will also be able to build your own gardens, fish hatcheries and beehives, if the house becomes to much for you to be able to handle you can also hire your own steward. The steward will provide you will travel assistance, also allowing you to hire your own personal bard.

Time to build
Hearthfire will also add the ability to adopt a child, but you will have to take care of them and also keep them entertained by playing games with your children. The price point for Hearthfire has been announced at 400 Microsoft Points and it is scheduled to be released on Xbox Live on September 4.
