Just when you think there wasn’t enough God of War (Sarcasm) apparently a new collection may be in the works, a retail source close to Siliconera has claimed a title by the name of God of War: Saga Collection may be on the horizon. This is not the first time Kratos has found himself in a game collection, with God of War Collection (Compiling of God of War 1 and 2 in HD) was released, followed by God of War Collection: Volume 2 (Collecting the PSP titles Ghosts of Sparta and Chains of Olympus onto PlayStation 3 glory).
Speculations are flying over what exactly this collection could possibly contain; many believe it will contain all the previous collection titles as well as God of War 3 thrown in. Could this be the case?
This is all speculation of course with this title not even confirmed at this time, but with God of War: Ascension releasing March 12th 2013 what better way to create buzz then release Kratos upon our consoles before the holiday season. This may be Sony’s way of refreshing peoples mind on the series, maybe even tapping a new market whom may have never played any of the series before Ascensions release.
According to the source we apparently won’t be waiting long for this release, this title is stated for a late August 2012 release. Could this be one of the titles Sony will announce at Gamescom? Keep it dialed into Analog Addiction for more news as it comes.
