Dontnod Entertainment, the studio currently developing Life is Strange, has already written the main story for a possible sequel to its debut release Remember Me.

In an interview with Siliconera, Jean-Maxime Moris, Creative Director at Dontnod, explained that the studio knows what they would do with a possible sequel, but it is currently not their decision.

“We know what we would do for Remember Me 2,” said Moris. “The main story has been written we know what we would add to the recipe. We know what we would fix. It’s a game that’s ready to be made, but that decision is Capcom’s to make.”

At this stage Moris explained that his studios focus is solely directed towards Life is Strange, though the studio has “starting bouncing ideas” about a possible Season Two. Though ultimately, that decision will be up to Square Enix.

Analog Addiction reviewed Remember Me, stating the release “offers a great deal of potential and it would be an absolute shame if we didn’t get to explore more of what this franchise has to offer.” in a possible sequel. Analog Addiction also reviewed Life is Strange Episode One, calling it a “refreshing, if campy, take on an existing genre”.
