Quickflix Premium Movie/TV Streaming Services Launch For PS3, PS4

Quickflix, Australia’s leading movie streaming company, has announced a major upgrade for the service provided on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 platforms, with the launch of its premium streaming service of the latest movie releases and current television seasons.
The new premium service will allow PlayStation owners access to the latest in movies to stream pay-per-view, as well as current season television shows to own. TV seasons will be pay-per-episode of available via a season pass which will add to the existing subscription pricing option of $9.99 per month. The new premium service will also feature the Quickflix “Playlist” of pre-selected movies and TV shows that are available to be viewed on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
“This is great news for Quickflix fans just in time for Christmas and summer time viewing.” said Quickflix Founder and CEO, Stephen Langsford. “We have added more than 5,000 hours of movie and TV shows to our service reinforcing our commitment to offering entertainment fans even greater choice when it comes to watching their favourite shows.”
Managing Director of Sony Computer Entertainment Australia and New Zealand, Michael Ephraim, also expressed his excitement to offer the new premium services to PlayStation owners. “We’re delighted that, with this upgrade, our PlayStation community will have access to additional Quickflix content, with new and exciting movie and TV shows to stream.”
In celebration of the new premiums Quickflix services, new PlayStation members who sign up for the service will receive 3 Premium new release movie rentals of their choice for free, upon signing up for a 1 month free trial of the new service.
