Iterative Games founder Kee-Won Hong has released the first public version of his upcoming title Contract Work, after a successful Kickstarter campaign.

Contract Work is a cyberpunk inspired RPG shooter, giving players full control when tackling situations. Want to run n’ gun? Hack and stealth? All these options are available through a variety of levels.

Inspired by Deus Ex and System Shock, Contract Work allows players to earn money to upgrade their characters. Players can choose from guns, shields, armour or abilities to tailor make their own character.

The first release phase allows players to earn up to $20,000 of in-game currency for free, after which players will be offered the chance to pay a reduced $2.99 for further beta access.

Contract Work was created in HTML5 and can run on all major browsers, without plugins or installations. Hong is also considering Steam and Ouya iterations of the game.
