Pre-Order ‘Outlast’ For 20% Discount on Steam

Red Barrel has announced today that Outlast is now available for pre-order on Steam. Those who pre-order Outlast between now and its September 4 release will receive a 20% discount off the $19.99 price.
Outlast takes place in the abandoned Mount Massive Asylum, that has recently re-opened and is operating in strict secrecy. Playing as independent journalist Mile Upshur, we break into the facility after an unknown source.
PAX Prime attendees can see more on the survival horror genre by attending the “Are you Afraid? A Guide to Survival Horror,” featuring Outlast developer David Chateauneuf. The panel will take place Sunday, September 1, from 10.30 am – 11.30am in the Wolfman Theatre. PAX Prime attendees can also check out a hands-on demo of Outlast at the event.
Outlast will release September 4 on PC and will release on PlayStation 4 next year.
