Plethora of Australian Nintendo News

For the Australian Nintendo fan out there, Nintendo have confirmed details for many of its upcoming titles, including Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and a host of new downloadable games coming to the eShop.

Paper Mario: Sticker will be released in Australia and New Zealand on December 8, the new game adds a new stick dynamic to the Mario’s craft world. Stickers are scattered throughout the world giving Mario extra powers and special movies, players can even create their own stickers to find during their journey.


Hitting just before the holiday period on December 6, a new Nintendo 3DS XL colour will be launched. The white 3DS XL will be pre-installed with Mario Kart 7.

March 2013 brings forth Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which will allow players to experience the thrill of multiplayer quests on the Nintendo 3DS. You can connect up to 4 players to the play simultaneously locally via the handheld system. The game will also feature cross-platform functionality allowing one Wii U owner to join 3 3DS users in their world.

Heaps more details were released including the sequel to Pullblox known as Fallblox being released in next few months, also the ability to download some of the biggest retail games for the Nintendo 3DS has just landed. Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Star Fox 64 3D, all now available online in the eShop.

Fans of Level-5’s franchise Professor Layton, will be happy to know that his latest adventure Miracle Mask will be available October 27. President and CEO of Level-5 also discussed three new titles, created with some of the most famous Japanese developers, starting with Liberation Maiden created by Suda51, which will be coming to the eShop.

Well there we are Australia, it is a lot of new to take in, but Nintendo will be hitting hard this holiday season. From the 3DS eShop titles, the new 3DS XL colour and the Wii U launch on November 30 for Australia and New Zealand.
