PlayStation Vita, Mobile App Receiving Software Updates

Coinciding with the release of software update 2.50 for PlayStation 4, the PlayStation Vita will also be receiving a new update in the form of software update 3.50.


The new PlayStation Vita update will add new accessibility options, which include the option to enlarge text, increase contrast and more, as well as enabling 60fps streaming via Remote Play. The update is aimed to compliment the new features coming to the PlayStation 4.

The PlayStation App for smartphones and tablets will also receive a new update in the for of update version 2.50. The new additions are similar to the PlayStation Vita update, which will also increase Remote Play capabilities to 60fps while streaming.
