This week marks the release of PlayStation All-Stars first expansion to the games roster of fighters, as we received Kat (Gravity Rush) and Emmet Graves (StarHawk).
Over 2 weeks ago it was confirmed Sony had severed ties with SuperBot Entertainment, creators of PlayStation All-Stars. With further DLC being handled by Santa Monica Studios, however this doesn’t mean we have seen the last of SuperBot’s work in PlayStation All-Stars.
On SuperBot’s official Facebook page, fans asked for clarification on what exactly SuperBot’s role in All-Stars was at this point in time.
Since the games release in October last year our first batch of new All-Stars has only just been released, but it looks like more characters have been created and have all but been confirmed. On February 6 CEO of Oddworld Studio, Stewart Gilray Tweeted “We were to get Abe in DLC in April or May but they cancelled us“.
With the possibility of Abe now out the window, what other ‘All-Stars’ could be coming to the PlayStation centric fighter?
No confirmation on release dates, pricing or what the new content could include have been given, but we should expect further details next month. However, we do know it will definitely be created by SuperBot Entertainment.
