If you have ever wanted to order pizza straight from your console, your dreams have come true. Pizza Hut have teamed up with Microsoft to produce a brand new Xbox Live app, that allows players to build their order from scratch on their Xbox 360.
The new app allows players to utilise their controller, Kinect sensor or even voice commands to put together their orders. These orders include full customisable pizzas, side dishes and more. Users can even connect their PizzaHut.com and Xbox accounts, making the process even easier.
Microsoft’s Director of Programming for Xbox Live, Larry Hyrb spoke to Polygon regarding the new application.
“We’re always looking at ways to give our audience more of what they’re interested in. If you look at our audience, they love pizza. I mean, who doesn’t? It has international appeal, and Pizza Hut is a recognized brand that matches up well with the Xbox brand.”
The app is now live in North America, with no word of an international release (America get all the good stuff).
Users will only be able to finalise their order, if they are situated in an area that has Pizza Hut locations. Users will also be given 15% off their first purchase when they download the app and create their order before May 6.
