Xbox One owners in Australia and New Zealand are now able to download Pandora Internet Radio on Microsoft’s next generation console.

The Pandora Internet Radio application has been built to take full advantage of the TV environment. Featuring a HTML5-based interface for use on TV and innovative new features, the application is designed to look and sound amazing on your big screen.

Users will be able to easily see their most recent listened to station, as well as the time spent on specific stations. The Xbox One version will also feature a persistent mini-player to help users get to their favourite music as fast as possible. Kinect owners can also interact with the Pandora application with Gestures and Voice Commands, and also utilise Snap to have the application play as you game or use other applications.

“At Xbox we’re committed to our vision of bringing the best entertainment features to the Xbox One,” said Jeremy Hinton, Business Group Lead for Interactive Entertainment at Microsoft Australia. “We’re excited to add Pandora Internet Radio to the platform, a service dedicated to music discovery, giving our fans more choice than ever when it comes to streaming and discovering new music they love, in addition to watching and playing their favourite shows, movies and games.”
