Nordic Games Form New Studio, Announce ‘SpellForce 3’

Nordic Games has announced a new title in the SpellForce series with the third installment SpellForce 3, alongside forming a new Munich-based development studio.
SpellForce 3 will be developed by the new Munich-based studio, Grimlore Games. The development team was founded by Nordic Games and includes an abundance of gaming experience from titles including The Settlers 2, Knights and Merchants, Cultures and SpellForce 2.
Nordic Games has based the new studio in Munich due to the rich pool of development talent located in the area. Grimlore Games hopes to implement new talent over the coming months and years, that will complement the core team already in place. The studio will focus on PC games for core gamers, with a specific focus on role-player and real-time strategy titles.
