There are no current plans for story based Tomb Raider DLC, says Crystal Dynamic’s Global Brand Manager Karl Stewart.

During a Reddit ‘Ask Me Anything‘, when asked about future single player story-based “There are currently no plans in place for any Single Player expansions. All of our DLC is based around the Multiplayer experience for now.”

We reported earlier this week that the Caves and Cliff map pack DLC were available for Xbox 360 players, seems like multiplayer DLC will continue in the future. The DLC is currently a time exclusive to the Xbox 360, with PlayStation 3 and PC versions to be released in the future.

The multiplayer portion of Tomb Raider wasn’t part of the games strong point, with our review stating “it feels plain, and fairly basic.”

With the confirmation of no story content DLC, could Crystal Dynamics be already at work on the next Tomb Raider adventure? Tomb Raider‘s multiplayer was outsourced to Eidos Montreal, which leaves Crystal Dynamic with no future plans.
