Developer Housemarque has released the latest patch for Alienation, which includes new Weekly Missions, a new difficulty and more customisation options.

The latest patch will allow players to compete in Weekly Missions, which will add “unusual rules for additional challenge”, and beating them within seven days will earn players a reward. Players can also now loot and collect armours with different with different modifiers, and customise their armour colours by collecting one of 42 different paints available.

Alongside those additions, players can now experience the latest difficulty known as Legend, while attempting to earn the six additional Trophies and reach the new increased Hero Level cap.

While the aforementioned patch is completely free, Housemarque has also released new paid DLC, which includes a new secondary weapon known as the Devastator, and the heavy Collapser. Looking for more customisation options? The Armour Paint Pack features three exclusive armour paints, and the Veteran Heroes pack allows players to start characters at level 15 to access World Level 2.

Previously Housemarque has also updated Alienation to include local co-op ranked leagues, extra weapons and bullet colours. For information on the full list of details included in the latest patch, check out the announcement on the PlayStation Blog.
