Danger Close the developers of the latest Medal of Honor title, Warfighter. Have announced a cross-collaboration with one of the worlds most popular bands, Linkin Park. Mike Shinoda, the bands co-producer and co-lead vocalist has provided some a very powerful score for Medal of Honor: Warfighter which look to add an emotional connection between the music and the gameplay itself.

Linkin Park has also included their soldier inspired track “Castle of Glass” on their latest album ‘Living Things‘, consistent with the dramatic themes developer Danger Close are hoping to achieve. The song illuminates the authentic emotional action within the game, the song itself looks at the emotional sacrifices a soldier must make in order to defend their country.

The video clip for “Castle of Glass” will be a direct collaboration between the members of Linkin Park and developer Danger Close. The music video will be produced by Danger Close and Digital Domain, it will feature a very unique mix of live action realistic footage as well as gameplay recordings taken directly from Medal of Honor: Warfighter. This could turn out to be a very interesting film clip, since games have never played a big part in music video before.

Are you a Linkin Park fan? Does this collaboration interest you? Let us know in the comments below.
