Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Demo Available Now

Square Enix has announced that a playable demo for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is now available to download for Xbox 360 Gold members and PlayStation 3 owners. Xbox Live Silver members will see the demo available January 28.
The demo allows players to control Lightning as she journey’s through the chaos-infested Yusnaan palace of her old ally, Snow. Players can customise Lightning’s appearance and abilities, with a selection of weapons, outfits and roles based on different jobs from the Final Fantasy series. There are three different combat styles players can experiment with to fully master the new battle system.
Those who play the demo and activate the social-networking Outerworld service, will be able to submit their battle score they achieve during the final fight against Zaltys. Doing so will unlock the ‘Siegfried’ outfit in full version of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 11 in North America, February 13 in Australia and New Zealand, and February 14 in Europe.
