Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has announced that Godzilla is now available on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 consoles; with the PlayStation 3 version only available digitally.
Godzilla has been developed by Natsume Atari Inc. and gives players control of over 20 different Kaiju from the Godzilla franchise, which include classics such as Anguirus and Rodan. There are also a variety of different versions of Godzilla, which include the Godzilla from the 1964 film Mothra vs. Godzilla, as well as a version of Godzilla from the latest film in the franchise, which was released in 2014.
Players will lay waste to cities as they collect G-Energy to power-up Godzilla, which increases his physical size and his defensive and offensive skills. PlayStation 4 owners will also be able to play as any Kaiju in any game mode, though this feature is exclusive to the next generation PlayStation version. Players can also venture online and face opponents with their powered up Kaiju to see who is the most destructive force in up to three player battles.
Bandai Namco Entertainment previously released a video detailing the large selection of Kaiju available in Godzilla, which can be seen here.
