Gamescom 2014: New Kano ‘Mortal Kombat X’ Screens

Following the announcement Kano will be a playable character in Mortal Kombat X, NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released a series of screenshots featuring the one-eyed, cybernetically enhanced warrior.
These new screenshots showcase a closer look at Kano, who is the leader of the international crime syndicate, the Black Dragon. We also get to see Kano go one-on-one with previously revealed characters, Raiden and Sub Zero. We also get a better look at all three variations of Kano’s fighting style – Cutthroat, Commando and Cybernetic.
Kano’s Mortal Kombat X reveal was showcased yesterday when NetherRealm Studios’ creative director, and Mortal Kombat co-creator, Ed Boon, released a detailed gameplay trailer for the character. The video in question explained the variations of each of Kano’s fighting styles, which explained Cutthroat focused on knife fighting abilities, with Commando enhancing Kano’s grappling skills, and the Cybernetic variation focusing on eye laser attacks.
Mortal Kombat X is scheduled to release in 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
