Update: Ubisoft has responded to Analog Addiction’s question regarding the Far Cry 4 Complete Edition coming to other platforms, stating “Just PS4 and PC for now.”
Though this doesn’t mean the Complete Edition won’t make its way to other consoles at some point, it seems it won’t happen any time soon.
Original Story: Ubisoft has announced the Far Cry 4 Complete Edition, which contains the original Far Cry 4 game and all five pieces of Season Pass downloadable content.
The Far Cry 4 Complete Edition will release on June 18, 2015 in Australia and June 19, 2015 in the UK on PlayStation 4 and PC. There was no mention of any Xbox One or last generation versions of this release, and AA will update this story once we have clarification if this is indeed the case.
Ubisoft has detailed the five pieces of Season Pass content that will be included in the release below.
The Syringe DLC: Players must find a rare and potent recipe before Pagan Min’s forces use it against the rebels.
Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC: Without anything to defend themselves with, players will have to complete a series of challenges to reach an extraction point.
The Hurk Deluxe Pack contains five missions and an arsenal of five new weapons including “The Impaler”, Hurk’s harpoon gun.
Overrun DLC allows players to team up as Rakshasa or Golden Path to swarm conflict zones, and overrun their opponents in maps based on Kyrat’s countryside.
Valley of the Yetis DLC: After crashing in the Himalayas, players must explore a new frozen landscape and discover the secrets behind a mysterious cult.
Analog Addiction loved the original Far Cry 4 release, but found the Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC lacking; while the Valley of the Yetis DLC finished the Season Pass content strongly.
