Capcom has officially launched DmC Devil May Cry Definitive Edition for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in retail stores and digitally.
DmC Devil May Cry Definitive Edition includes the original DmC Devil May Cry, alongside all additional content released, including the Vergil’s Downfall DLC. The new version features 1080p visuals and 60fps gameplay across both systems, as well as a much asked for lock-on ability during combat.
That’s not all, the new edition also includes Vergil’s Bloody Palace Mode, an exclusive mode for use by Dante’s brother Vergil. There is also a new modifier called Turbo Mode, which increases gameplay speed by 20% and Hardcore Mode, which raises the bar for achieving a high style rank that veteran Devil May Cry fans will enjoy. Plus the new God Must Die Mode, which is a new difficulty option bringing forth the most challenging way to play DmC.
Gameplay has also been fine-tuned, with new balancing issues implemented on fan feedback. As well as new character skins for both Dante and Vergil, inspired by classic Devil May Cry designs.
Analog Addiction reviewed the original DmC Devil May Cry, calling it “great deal of fun”. A remastered version of Devil May Cry 4 is also scheduled to release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in “Winter 2015”.
