The North American release date of Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD for PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Store has been announced, and it will available to download January 14 2014.
The announcement was made through the PlayStation Blog, by Ubisoft Sofia Producer Momchil Valentinov Gindyanov. Though this has only confirmed the North American PlayStation 3 release, the title will also be coming to Xbox 360 and PC, as well as other regions; yet no announcement has been made.
Liberation HD is taking the original PlayStation Vita exclusive title featuring the female assassin Aveline, and bringing it to consoles and PC with an array of improvements. Gindyanov stated each mission has been reworked in order to improve pacing and challenge to the player.
Alongside the HD visual upgrade there will also be new missions, specific to Aveline’s Personas. There will be 15 new missions in total, that will delve deeper into Aveline’s story.
Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD will cost $19.99 and we will update you when more release dates have been announced.
