4A Games has confirmed Metro Redux will be coming to “the latest generation of console hardware.”

The confirmation comes after a leaked retail listing appeared on the Italian website Everyeye.it, though it seems 4A Games has nothing to reveal on their latest project at this time.

“As you can see, we’re not quite ready to reveal 4A Games’ first next-gen console project, but we will be making an announcement this side of E3.”

The leaked images showcased Metro Redux coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Which would bring Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light together in one package, alongside day one DLC, art cards, limited edition packaging and a soundtrack. These details allign with previous reports that Last Light was coming to PlayStation 4 consoles last year.

It must be noted 4A Games acknowledged that these images are from “old, internal planning presentation” that do contain “some nuggets of truth but a lot of hypothetical ideas and place holder material.” Which means these leaked images and possible bonus content may not exist with the final release.

The Metro series was originally published by THQ, before Koch Media purchased the rights to publish the franchise after THQ’s bankruptcy.
