Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z Receives New Mode & Mighty No. 9 Cameo

Team NINJA has revealed released the first official details and an all-new trailer detailing the retro-stylised side-scrolling “Ninja Gaiden Z” Mode, which will feature in the upcoming release of Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z.
Alongside the new details it was announced a collaboration, which will see Beck, the main character of Keiji Inafunue’s Mighty No. 9 making cameo appearance in the title in the form of an alternate costume that can be worn by Yaiba. The DLC release of Beck will also be followed by a Camouflage costume for Yaiba.
“Ninja Gaiden Z” Mode will see Yaiba tackle zombies in an over-the-top 3D side-scrolling realm. It will feature classic 8-bit style cut scenes and UI, which will see Yaiba battling elemental zombies, mechanised zombies and more.
Yaiba will fortunately have company during these tough challenges, as Forge Industries engineer Miss Monday will be tagging along for the ride. Miss Monday doesn’t care too much about doing right from wrong, and will be a strong asset during these challenging odds.
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z will release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on March 6, 2014.
