Naughty Dog has announced the first major post-launch multiplayer content for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, coming this week.

The first major post-launch release will come in the form of patch 1.08, which will be just over 1.3GB in size to download. The patch will include “Lost Treasures”, which will contain a free new multiplayer map, new gameplay items and character skins. The new map is called Sunken Ruins, which has been described as a “a small, fast-paced map with tight fronts and some hidden water flank routes.”

Alongside the new multiplayer map, players will be able to purchase new DLC Gameplay Chests and Relics. These new options will include new weapons, boosters and mystical items; with each chest always offering new items. Uncharted 4 multiplayer will also receive over 50 new skins and pre-sets, over 70 new hats and face wear items, and an assortment of new taunts and weapon skins.

Uncharted 4 multiplayer will also be receiving a new leveling system, which will provide players with exclusive vanity items that can only be earned by increasing multiplayer levels; with a reward obtained after every five levels. Ranked Team Deathmatch will also be overhauled, with players receiving exclusive vanity rewards as they rise through different ranked multiplayer tiers.

These are just a handful of the significant updates Naughty Dog will be implementing with patch 1.08, so make sure you check out the official announcement on the PlayStation Blog for all the details of the patch before it launches later this week.
