2K and Gearbox Software have announced two new playable characters for the upcoming shooter Battleborn.
The two new characters are Kleese and El Dragón, who join the 25 playable heroes that will be available when Battleborn launches in May.
Both new characters are completely different, as Kleese being a mad engineering genius who flies around on his hovering chair, while El Dragón is a luchador with cybernetic arms. Kleese has designed his high-end “combat furniture” to avoid wasting his time getting his hands dirty, while El Dragón is a wrestling champion who lost both his arms in a wrestling match against a rogue AI – as they were both ripped off during the match.
Kleese utilises abilities from his hovering lounge chair and his electronic gauntlets, which allow him to create black holes and electrify his enemies. El Dragón on the other hand utilises wrestling based moves, such as clotheslines and splash attacks to deliver powerful physical maneuvers.
Battleborn will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 3. You can also check out AA’s positive hands-on impressions of Battleborn here.
