THQ’s Bringing Their Best Downunder

THQ will be showing off their best upcoming games at this year’s EB Games Expo, in Sydney Australia. They have been nominated for 49 awards and winning 18 awards at E3 collectively and THQ will be bringing that quality downunder, with Company of Heroes 2, Metro: Last Light, WWE ‘13 and South Park: Stick of Truth.
After Metro: Last Light’s positive gameplay demo, this will be an Australian first as it makes its way to the Expo. You will be able to follow Artyom as he makes his way through Moscow’s subway system, watch him fight to stay alive against mutant creates in this harsh post-apocalyptic world through a live demo play through.
Australia will also be happy to hear about another exclusive heading their way, with South Park: Stick of Truth thrusting you into the boots of the new kid to arrive in South Park. This demo will feature never-before-seen gameplay as Cartman as his crew takes you through this hilarious adventure.
Step into the boots of the Soviet army taking on German troops on the Eastern Front in Company Heroes 2. This is the follow-up to the original which was the highest rated strategy game of all time. Fully playable to the public for the first time, you will control troops as they fight the freezing weather conditions and the vicious German enemy.
Lastly THQ will present WWE ‘13, the next installment in the WWE franchise. WWE ‘13 will transport you back in time to the Attitude Era, be able to take control of the legends in the business such as The Rock, Stone Cold, D-Generation X and Mankind. Boasting the best wrestling experience to date, WWE ’13 will be experienced first-hand.
Also for those Saints Row: The Third fans, if you come to the THQ booth dressed as one of Steelport’s finest, you will be rewarded with some Saints Row: The Third merchandise for your hard work, in honor of Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package edition. First in best dressed, so look your best.
This year the EB Games Expo will be bigger and better than ever before, taking place Friday October 5th till Sunday October 7th at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.
