Rocksmith Now Available in Australia & New Zealand

Ubisoft’s Rocksmith will be available in Australia & New Zealand stores starting today, the innovative guitar learning tool provides unique training to become a skilled guitarist, plus make it extremely fun. It is being released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Rocksmith allows players to connect any real electric or bass into their consoles, allowing them to fine tune their skills and teach them how to be a real guitarist. This is a proven method of learning and allows players to learn at their own place, with the fun factor built-in players do not feel as if they are going through the grueling process of learning, rather a challenging gaming experience. The local version of Rocksmith will include the original released game, plus exclusive content such as the brand new bass guitar mode.


Fans will be able to player over 50 tracks from the latest hits from Muse and Franz Ferdinand, to classic tracks from Rolling Stones and Lenny Kravitz. Fans will also be able to download some cool DLC packs available on release, which increase the amount effects to dedicated songs, also including standalone songs from such bands as Blink 182, 3 Doors Down and Pat Benetar. Rocksmith will also be provided with more download packs coming soon, including the Classic Rock, Alternative Rock and Metal DLC Packs.
