‘Resident Evil’ 20th Anniversary Interview – Hiroyuki Kobayashi

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Resident Evil series, Capcom has released the first in a series of developer interviews featuring commentary from members of the development team.
The first video in this new series features producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, who describes his experiences with the development of the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 6. Kobayashi also describes some interesting facts from the development process, which include how players reacted to the horror in games, as well as the push to always improve the graphical fidelity of the series.
The Resident Evil series debuted on March 22, 1996 and Capcom has stated they will continue to celebrate the anniversary “over the next year” and that the “team is already hard at work to deliver some amazing new surprises.”
