Atlus has finally announced Persona 5 will launch in the west next year.

Persona 5 was meant to launch in the west in 2016, but after a subsequent delay Persona 5 will now launch on February 14, 2017. Persona 5 will be available on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, with PlayStation 4 pre-orders coming with a limited edition Steelbook launch edition at no extra cost.

PlayStation 4 owners will also be able to pre-order the exclusive Take Your Heart Collector’s Edition, which will include a Steelbook case, plush Morgana toy, 64 page hardcover art book, Shujin Academy replica school bgd, a Persona 5 soundtrack CD and a collectable box.

Persona 5 will launch in Japan on September 15, before launching in the west on February 14, 2017; almost exactly 5 months later.

Are you excited to finally have a concrete release date? Or saddened about the extended wait for Persona 5?
